A Reading Kansas resident was found dead on Monday after a deadly tornado ripped through the small rurual town. More than two hundred homes were damaged or destroyed when a tornado ripped through Reading, Kansas, on Sunday night.

Just after 7 PM on Sunday night a powerful twister tore through cars and homes as if they were made of paper. Golf ball sized hail broke windows and battered the landscape as the tornado touched down near Interstate 70.

The midwestern United States has been devastated in recent months by hundreds of unusually powerful tornados, many of which have been deadly. In the past two months, more than 350 people have died in letal storms.
