Best Dressed At Coachella Music Festival 2011 (Photos)
- Created Apr 18, 2011
The annual Coachella music festival was held over the weekend in Indio, CA, 20 minutes from the Salton Sea. Tons of the usual celebrities you would expect to hit the desert scene did in fact attend the fashion statement weekend.
Film and television actors, Isabel Lucas, Ashley Greene, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Skarsgard, Penn Badgley and a slew of Glee kids were spotted with beer in hand at the fest. Even Katy Perry took a break from her world tour to attend the festival. Tons of Coachella attendees tweeted and tumbl'd about their Coachella experience and the celebrities they bumped into.
One Strokes fan Tumbl'd earlier this afternoon they were dancing so hard to the music they didn't notice Alexa Chung was next to them. Others Tumbl'd their personal photos of Glee characters looking ridiculous around the Coachella grounds. Most of the women and Penn Badgley brought their best bohemian fashion to the desert. I was more impressed with 2010's Coachella fashion, Kate Bosworth and Dita Von Teese rocked a killer outfit each day, but I still gathered the notables from the bland bohemian fashion storm of this year.
Vanessa Hudgens won in my book for best dressed every day of the festival. She kept her trend going with floppy hats, beach hair and Native American inspired tops. What impressed me most about Baby V were the accessories she wore, from feathers in her hair to paint on her face. I didn't like what Ke$ha wore during the weekend, nor ever, she's not included in the photos.
Kate Bosworth wasn't my number one this year, neither was Katy Perry. Ashley Greene, a day after arriving home from the Breaking Dawn wrap, kept it casual, so did Camilla Belle. My second favorite of the weekend was Isabel Lucas. One day it was shorts and a sweater, next day a lace top and foot length pink skirt, the last day a pastel long skirt with a headband. My favorite on stage fashion was Sleigh Bells in their personalized "The Bells" jersey with the number 23, making sure everyone knows it's The Jordan Year every year for Sleigh Bells. Photos of my favorite Coachella fashion are above.
