February 1, 2011, Lilongwe, Malawi]------In one of the strangest legislation I have ever heard, not to mention highly impractical, one country is determined to make farting a crime by law.

Yes, you read correctly, the African country of Malawi, led by Dr. Bingu wa Mutharika, is reportedly gearing up to vote in Parliament on a number of weird legislature, one being the absolutely normal body function of the human race and some animals too, I think?

According to Mailonline, the government's reason for even wanting such gibberish into law? Malawi officials want to stop citizens from" fouling up the air' and also 'mould responsible and disciplined citizens.'

Among the other strange legislation being voted on are-- insulting the modesty of a woman, challenging to fight a duel, trespassing on a burial place and also pretending to be a fortune teller.

The leaders of the Opposition parties have reportedly said that these new laws are turning the parliament into 'kangaroo courts'.
