Knucklebonz, a North Carolina-based company committed to fine craftsmanship and the artistry of creating hand-crafted statues for music fans and collectors, has produced something very special indeed for Beatles fans.

The company’s Rock Iconz line will be releasing limited-edition statues based on Yellow Submarine, an animated classic featuring cartoon Beatles engaged in undersea adventures. The “Blue Meanie,” the Beatles arch-villain in the movie, will be the first character released in the set, shipping next week and arriving in time for Christmas. See http://knucklebonz.com/beatlesbluebeanie.html for more details.

The statues of John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney will debut in early 2011. See http://knucklebonz.com/beatles.html for more information.

These collectibles are licensed and approved by Apple Corps, Ltd. Live Nation Merchandise, Inc. The Beatles North America Licensing Agent brokered the deal. All figures are 1/9 scale (approximately 9" high), hand-painted, numbered and each comes with a certificate of authenticity. The suggested retail price is $115 per statue.
