Disco Queen and music legend Donna Summer died on Thursday in Florida, after a long bout with cancer, according to TMZ.

Donna Summer was a five-time Grammy Award winner and was well known for her disco music hits, "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls."

Even though Summer was battling cancer, she was still at work on an album she was hoping to have released in the near future.

"Sources say she had attempted to keep the extent of her illness from fans and was recently trying to finish up her latest album," according to the Daily Mail UK.

Summer leaves two children and millions of fans behind. However, her music and ability to send fans to the dance floor will live on in legendary style.
