New York City]------One baby couldn't wait for the hospital lights and chose the bright lights of a New York City train to make his entrance into the world.
In a remarkable story, a young mother, 31-year-old Rabita Sarkar of New Jersey was on her way to the City on the PATH train from New Jersey with her husband for a doctor's visit when she started having pain. Expecting their first child but knowing the due date was further along, the new mother didn't think it was serious.
But baby had other plans and commuters probabaly got an eyeful when the train car turned into a delivery room. According to a report on ABC's Good Morning America, Sarkar said the pain got worse so she asked her husband, 30-year-old Aditya Saurabh to see what was going on 'down below.'
To his surprise, he reportedly saw their baby son already coming out and with the help of a fellow female passenger, delivered the busy baby around 10:00 A.M on Monday. Fellow commuters were very helpful and one little girl reportedly offered her jacket as a blanket for the newborn.
Baby and mother were taken to Roosevelt hospital after the train made only express stops and quickly got the family to 33rd Street in Manhattan where they were met by ambulance. All are reportedly doing just fine.
Suffice it to say, the new happy parents have a special little one on their hands and have already nicknamed him an Indian name which means 'Busy."
